Little Evie – autumn mini session

I met this little darling, Evie, and her mummy in the park for an Autumn mini-session. My oh my, she was a little gem… she even listened when you asked her to do something (shock horror – not something I am used to in this game!). She had so much fun frolicking around in the leaves, and dancing around. She had the funniest range of expressions, and was so full of charm and character. Of course, I had so much fun photographing her (and her mums legs). What a beautiful love these pair share – it is just so so evident.

I could post a bunch of images on here, but I have decided to try and cut down on the amount I show on my blog. Sometimes I just go WAY overboard. Anyhow, it was lovely to meet you both and your online gallery is very close to being finished – I will be in touch when it’s done!

Boys will be boys…

I was so excited about photographing this family of 3 boys (Rhys, Casey and Lindsay) with their parents. As a mum of 2 boys, I am just constantly amazed at the kinship and friendship little boys share, and of course, at the crazy things they do. These guys were no different. They were each little individuals, but had that special bond that only brothers can have. Their parents are so fun-loving and interacted with them so beautifully – it was very easy to see why they were such great kids.

The boys were incredibly dapper young lads and had the most beautiful little smiles! When I arrived at their home (after driving around in circles for 15 minutes), the boys proceeded to show me around – their bedrooms were  fantastic – so colourful and creative (as you will see from some of the images below). Any little person would love to have a room like one of these… but then …. I ventured into their playroom, and WOW. Talk about a jaw-dropper! It was this fantastic themed jungle playroom, and you can see how great it is in the photographs below.

I had such a blast visiting this family at their home, and photographing a slice of their life. I also loved the visit to the park afterwards. It looks so stunning at the moment, and was perfect for photographing the lot of them playing in the leaves. Then… something I have wanted to do for ages….. I photographed them having an icecream from Annies Icecream (a Bathurst institution if you are reading and are not from this area). Yay!

So, I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek. It was wonderful to meet you, and I will be in touch soon with your gallery.
