So, if you are reading and you are not a photographer – there is this thing that photographers do, and it involves taking a photo for every day in the month. It’s about concentrating on your own family pictures for a while, because sometimes you get busy with client photo’s and forget your own special ones. For me, it’s about taking a more journalistic approach to our life together. Not rehearsed or posed or intentional. Just real and just us.
I love photographing my boys – all three of them! I don’t get enough photos of Damien (my husband) though because he is always in his work fluro’s, and they are not particularly photogenic lol!
So, today was one of those days I just carted my camera around with me everywhere we went. It travelled a few km’s around town today. I got photos of lots of different things – it was SO hard to choose a picture of the day. So, finally I decided to post this one of my beautiful husband because he probably won’t make too many appearances this month.
I took this shot when we were out carting hay today. Damien and Beau were in the tractor and Dusty and I were in the truck. The boys love to help out where they can, and they really think they are helping! It’s extremely cute, even though they practically rip each others hair out deciding who gets to go with Daddy. Beau usually does the bulk of the tractor work, and Dusty is very handy at tying down loads when necessary.
oh, and I just can’t resist adding another one …. so much for one a day hey? Collecting the eggs and mail are the boys special jobs, and today I got to photograph the egg part of the jobs. Maybe another day I’ll do the mail part?
And just because I can’t miss out on posting my little Beau Beau, checking out Pa’s camper trailer. (Yes, that’s my wonderful dad) and playing with the dog (who had the boys in hysterics for some reason).
