Sneak peek for a gorgeous family

I had the pleasure of photographing the most gorgeous family the other day! My gosh, these little girls had the most incredible eyes, and were just SO SO cute and SO SO sweet. Of course, they had to get it from somewhere – and when you meet their parents you know where! I had so much fun with this family, and we got some great shots, even if I did keep calling your dog a HE instead of a SHE (well, it’s called Steve so you can understand the confusion!)

I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek, and I will have your gallery ready really soon! Thanks for having me photograph your family.

I’ve been tagged!

Well, I am just downloading photos from my session this afternoon and thought I would fill in some time.

My gorgeous friend & talented photographer, Robyn Geering has tagged me. In case you don’t know what tagging is, it’s when people send a bunch of questions for their friends to answer via their blog. I’m new to the whole thing, but here’t my effort!

1. Post the rules on your blog

2. Write 7 random things about yourself

3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post

4. Pass on the tag

OK, so 7 random things about me….hmmmm

#1 – I have never been out of Australia. I would love to see more of this country first. For our honeymoon, Damien (my husband) and I drove from Bathurst to Cape Tribulation. That was the most amazing time in my life. We had no plan, only a destination. There is no way to describe the way the land changes – the colours, the landscapes. I just love watching the world go by….. and listening to funky tunes along the way.

#2 – I loved old things and antiques, and LOVE watching shows and reading about them. I Used to go to garage sales every weekend hunting for great bargains, but since the kids came along it’s been too hard to drag them both along!

#3 – I have always wanted to write a children’s book. Well, I have actually written one and one day might send it to a publisher. I studied journalism at uni, so it would be nice to put that degree to some use! I would also love to figure out a way to incorporate my writing and photographs together into a non-fiction book focused on rural Australia and it’s characters.

#4 – My favourite foods are mashed potato, peanut butter on toast and salads (except for coleslaw and potato & pasta salads).

#5 – I love good wine.

#6 – I love tickling my husband – he nearly dies! There is nothing quite like a good tickle to make you feel young. The laughter is contagious!

#7 – Family is everything to me. Everything. My boys make me so happy.

And I now tag the lovely Penny, Kat

Oh, yes – more itty bitty babies

You know, It’s so interesting to see the way different families welcome their little ones to the world. Every family is different, but there is just such a loving aura floating around! These guys were no different.

Do you remember the stunning pregnant lady I photographed a few months ago? Well, their little one has arrived…. Now, this little girl is one very lucky girl to have been born to such great parents! They are absolutely smitten by her, and Little Miss Audrey Rose has a lot of other big fans too… of that I know! Oh, yes – and I must add that she just happens to have the proudest daddy – and yes, she is THE best baby EVER born! lol.

Anyway, it was great meeting little Miss Audrey, and seeing you guys again. I hope you enjoy your sneek peek and your gallery will be up really soon!

Yay for babies

My lovely friend Michelle & her husband recently gave birth to a beautiful little girl, Chloe Ann. Here is a little peek of the lovely, gorgeous little baby girl when I photographed this week. I am absolutely in love with her!

Lazy summer days

My kids make me laugh my head off! Seriously, my big boy is 3 now and says the funniest things. My little boy is 1 and does the funniest things. They are such little characters – I am the luckiest mum in the whole world. Aww – I love you little guys. Although I am seriously behind on my blogging, I wanted to add a few shots of my boys (they are after all the main reason I am SO into photography) because I miss editing photos of them. So, today all my editing is up to date, but starting tomorrow I am going to have a bunch more to do. So, tonight was the night to finish up some shots of an afternoon we spent with my wonderful & talented friend and fellow photographer Penny Smith (Orange, NSW) and her beautiful daughter, at our place. We had so much fun, it was a beautiful lazy afternoon (and beautiful light), and here is a sweet little record of our lazy day.
