Amazing babies – Amazing mum
My beautiful friend gave birth to 2 baby girls on the 30th September. The wonder of giving birth was mixed with a lot of other emotions – as things did not go exactly to plan.
Fortunately, my friend and her beautiful baby girls are doing brilliantly now. My friend is an absolute trooper – just pluggin on with life as best she can. They are even hoping the girls will be home next week some time – yay! I’m sure their big sister (who is nearly 2 now) is just busting to get them home too.
So, I just wanted to show a few pics of the beautiful babes on my blog for their mum & dad. I took my camera to the hospital when I went to visit, and just wanted to document their first first little part of life just the way it was. My little sister was born very prematurely, and I look back with so much affection on the photos my mum has of her in the hospital – tubes, crib, drips and all. It makes me sad because it must have been such a hard time for my mum and dad. Fortunately, my friends little girls are absolute goers – they managed to stay in their mummy until 34 weeks and mum managed to get two hits of steriods to prepare their lungs properly before she had them. So, they were lucky!
I also wanted to tell my friend how proud I am of her for being so strong, gutsy, positive and able to see the bright side of life no matter what! I am so proud of you beautiful girl! You are a brilliant wife, mum and friend and I can’t wait until you have your little girls at home with you.

I got to meet and photograph a beautiful family yesterday. It was a lovely overcast day, everything so green and dewy (and thunderstorms threatening!) but we moved our session forward and managed to finish without so much as a drop of rain.
These kids were absolutely gorgeous – such beautiful skin (and temperaments!) and so smiley! Their parents were no different – and I got some great natural family shots. So, here’s your sneak peek – hope you like them. I’ll be in touch when I have your images finished and your gallery is ready.

I’ve had a lot of requests to see some more photographs of this beautiful mum-to-be, so – here are a few more! I LOVE doing maternity sessions, so if you have a bump growing happily away and would like the perfect thing to remember this time in your life, contact me!

More from Canberra session {Bathurst Photographer}
Just wanted to add a few more from Canberra – so here they are guys! Thought I had added these the other night, but I must have stuffed up somewhere along the way! I will be heading down your way again soon – I am seriously excited because that is where I am doing my Jinky Art workshop. Yippeee!
