40 Days of Summer is a personal photographic project I do annually, capturing one photograph of my family life every day, for the duration of the project.
Day 15 – Friday, 15th January 2012 @ 8.57pm
Captured - As the boys went wild with their cousin, Gil.
The story – Today I looked after Marli and Gil (just two of the little people who are instrumental in the social lives our kids). Not surprisingly, my house was a disaster zone after an hour or so. The kids had a very fun day, but I was very glad to put the little ones down for a sleep when bedtime came. Afternoon came, and Marli was picked up. Then Gil’s mum Jane came out after work, and we got yabbering, and yabbering, and yabbering, so we decided they should stay for dinner. We had takeaway burgers & chips, the boys played Hide and Seek, ran around like wild banshees and enjoyed what they call a ‘Game Night’, which includes staying up late, playing late and eating junk food.

I can totally hear the excitement and craziness and noise from this image!! I hope the ‘pack-up time’ wasn’t too painful!
Gotta love game night – they look like they had such fun!
I love the Bathurst network and recognizing my own friends in your photos.
